The Galito’s story began in the Mpumalanga City of Nelspruit, when the first Galito’s outlet opened its doors in 1996. With a powerful combination of great tasting chicken, excellent service and pride in what they do, Galito’s soon became a huge success.
In 2003 Galito’s decided to share its unique flavours with the rest of South Africa. It was at this point that the Galito’s Brand began to develop, and the franchising efforts took off in earnest.
Authentic flame grilled chicken, that’s what comes to mind when you think of Galito’s. The bastings of the Galitos chicken can be Lemon &Herb, Mild, Hot or Extra Hot as per the preference of the Customer and many are the patrons who have commended the taste, terming it unmatched.
Since the Inception of the Taste Awards Kenya, Galito’s has retained the title of “The Best Food on the Go Outlet” for two consecutive years.
